DO YOURSELF DRONE WITH CLOUD 3D SIMULATION FROM SimScale

Private community of DIY (Do It Yourself) Drone enthusiasts and passionate designers could participate to a free series of online workshop sessions organized by SimScale, innovative provider of powerful CAE platform based on modeling and 3D simulation technology.

Drones-SimScaleSimScale weekly DRONE Workshop series will start in October 15th at 16.00 CEST with practical simulation activities dedicated to “Aerodynamics of the drone including propellers”. Next workshop sessions will come every Thursday until November 5th, in the same timing interval: 16.00 – 17.00 CEST, and will cover Structural Design of drone components, Crash processes in landing, and Vibration analyze at chassis level.

See here complete Workshop sessions schedule.

Every registered participant will enjoy free access to the SimScale, having the opportunity to run the workshop 3D professional simulations on his own device, using a simple browser session. Participants will learn how to design, to optimize and to build their own drone, having optional possibility to complete homework assignment, to receive a completion Certificate for 50% of homework done, and to receive a 500 Euro professional training if all simulation homework will be submitted.

concept_general-manyThe SimScale platform is representing a new paradigm in engineering simulation offering Cloud access to powerful modeling and 3D simulation. Opening a simple Web browser on usual personal computer any user need only to upload a CAD model on SimScale Cloud platform which encapsulates a broad range of simulation tools from Fluid Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, and Thermodynamics to Acoustics, Discrete Particle Analysis, and Coupled physical phenomena.

SimScale has created a completely new approach to how engineering simulation can be used by making it accessible, cost-efficient and easy-to-learn and use.
