Continuing the review of the Romanian EuroCloud Award 2016 winners, let’s see more about StarCapture Mobile solution provided by Star Storage, established by the Romanian jury as „The Best Cloud Service for Vertical Markets”.

 

StarCapture Mobile is a Cloud solution specially created for mobile devices, being an optimal solution for companies which need mobility. The solution is also a valuable tool for the sales force, which have the possibility to sign more contracts in a shorter period of time, regardless of customer location.

StarCapture Mobile is running on Windows 8.1 and provides the possibility of custom sales processes, data correctly inserted from the first moment and streamlining the registration of new customers into systems (BI, ERP). The solution is perfectly aligned with current trends of digital transformation and mobility adopted by companies, developed to optimize operations and increase sales through more effective customers’ engagement.

StarCapture Mobile is a solution designed in the Cloud era, being optimized for delivery “as a Service”, both in Star Storage’s data center from Romania and in Microsoft Azure for global coverage. This service can be used in a variety of industries such as insurance, finance, banking, telecommunication, utilities, etc. automatically collects with no errors all identification data for customers, directly from their ID’s, simple and hassle free, captured data patterns in contracts or in other forms (automatic synchronization with SharePoint for data processing), reducing enrollment errors, operational risks and increasing data processing speed.

Several contracts can be signed directly on the tablet, in a shorter period of time, with a digital signature or biometric signature functionalities, regardless of customer location. Ending of contracts or renewals can be done much simpler and quicker on any tablet using Android, iOS, Windows operating system or on any computer (PC, laptop) which runs on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.

The application is available both as cloud service, as a monthly subscription, or on premise, at client’s headquarters, through installation and integration with existing systems.

In Cloud, StarCapture Mobile is offered as a service from Star Storage Tier-3 data center located in Bucharest, with 99.982% guaranteed availability, according to TIA 942 and Uptime Institute, but also from Microsoft Azure with global coverage in over 30 data centers. On top of StarCapture Mobile, the provider added biometrical signature and SEAL, an enterprise information archiving & records management system that enables to capture, transform, index and securely manage an entire electronic archive, while still maintaining the necessary compliance and governance toolsets.

The access to the mobile application is password protected. All the communication between the mobile client and the server is encrypted using HTTPS secure protocol. Every customer who is using the service has his own resource pool ensuring privacy and isolation. Transient captured data and generated electronic documents can also be optionally encrypted assuring a supplemental level of security for the information before reaching its final destination to the customer’s specific business applications/systems.

The solution provides operators and sales team efficiency by accuracy and fast fill in, due to advanced OCR features and biometric signature encapsulated in an easy to use interface and also manageable from back-end level. It also provides flexibility as the application enables configurable application flows for administrators, providing also the necessary freedom to make changes when business conditions require them.
